Event Organization

Workshops

I have been  involved in the organization of a number of events:

• Co-chair of the Multi-Agent Systems for Education and Interactive Entertainment (MASEIE), to be held in conjunction with the AAMAS 2010 Conference, Toronto, Canada.

• An Introduction to Agent-based Negotiation and Auctions. This course was delivered at the European Agent Systems Summer School (EASSS-10), Torino, Italy.

• Co-chair of the Educational Uses of Multi-Agent Systems Workshop, held in conjunction with the AAMAS 2009 Conference in Budapest, Hungary.

• Chair of the Fourth UK Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIinEducation) Workshop which was held under the auspices of the Higher Education Academy, Subject Centre of Information and Computer Sciences as part of the annual SGAI International Conference on Innovative Techniques and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in December 9th 2008 in Cambridge UK.

• An Introduction to Agent-based Negotiation and Auctions. This course was delivered as part of the 9th European Agent Systems Summer School (EASSS-07), Durham, UK. Extra material: Bibliography on auctions.

• Co-chair of the Third UK Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIinEducation) Workshop which is to be held under the auspices of the Higher Education Academy, Subject Centre of Information and Computer Sciences as part of the annual SGAI International Conference on Innovative Techniques and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in December 10th 2007 in Cambridge UK.

• Chair of the Sixth Business Agents and the Semantic Web International Workshop (BASeWEB-06) which was held in conjunction with the AAMAS Conference in May 8th 2006 in Hakodate, Japan.

• Co-chair of the Trading Agent Design and Analysis/Agent Mediated Electronic Commerce VIII (TADA/AMEC) Joint Workshop which was held in conjunction with the AAMAS Conference in May 9th 2006 in Hakodate, Japan.

• Co-chair of the Second UK Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIinEducation) Workshop which was held under the auspices of the Higher Education Academy, Subject Centre of Information and Computer Sciences as part of the annual SGAI International Conference on Innovative Techniques and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in December 11th 2006 in Cambridge UK.

• Co-chair of the Second International Workshop on Teaching Multi-agent Systems (TeachMAS), which was held as part of the Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems Conference (AAMAS), in July 2005, in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

• Chair and organizer of the First UK Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIinEducation) Workshop which was held under the auspices of the Higher Education Academy, Subject Centre of Information and Computer Sciences as part of the annual SGAI International Conference on Innovative Techniques and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in December 12th 2005 in Cambridge UK.
